QuickBooks Desktop

We’ve listened to your feedback and want to inform you that we are extending the deadline to discontinue sales of several desktop products. Originally planned for July 31, 2024, we will now cease new subscriptions for QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus, Premier Plus, Mac Plus, and Desktop Enhanced Payroll after September 30, 2024. Renewals will continue to be supported beyond this date.

The updated pricing detailed below reflects the value our products offer and considers comparable offerings in the market. This adjustment aims to encourage businesses to evaluate both QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop, choosing the solution that best aligns with their specific needs.

The revised subscription rates for QuickBooks Desktop will come into effect as indicated in the table below.

  • The discounts on existing QuickBooks Enterprise subscriptions purchased before October 1, 2024, will continue upon renewal, at this time. However, these discounts will no longer apply when modifications and changes are made to existing orders on or after October 1, 2024, as they result in new subscriptions.

QuickBooks Desktop Payroll

QuickBooks Desktop Payroll prices for existing customers will take effect on the dates.

  • Intuit will send a 30-day notice to your impacted clients in December 2024, addressed to the primary principal’s email address on file, because the employee direct deposit fee is billed directly to your clients.
