1. Payroll Services

  • Assisted Payroll: After May 31, 2025, QuickBooks Desktop 2022 will stop working for payroll taxes, forms, and sending payroll data. Your subscription will end, and tax forms won’t be sent for you.
  • Basic, Standard, or Enhanced Payroll: After this date, QuickBooks Desktop 2022 won’t do payroll taxes or forms correctly. Paychecks might be wrong, and your subscription will end.
  • Workers’ Comp Payment Service: You can’t use QuickBooks Desktop 2022 to pay Workers’ Comp anymore. You need a newer QuickBooks and active Payroll to use this.
  • QuickBooks Workforce: You and your employees will lose access. To use it, you need a newer QuickBooks and active Payroll.
  • Payroll for QuickBooks Desktop Plus 2022: After May 31, 2025, payroll taxes and forms won’t work correctly. Paychecks might be wrong, and your subscription will end.
